Dreams & Visions for Your Future


Do you dream of a future full of success, happiness and prosperity? 


It all begins with a single thought. 


Followed by a dream and shadowed by a vision. 


And finally pursued physically by action. 


You can create the future you desire to live, if only you will put your mind to it! 


One of the most important lessons I have learned is this:


I am where I am in life because of my own thoughts. It is not my upbringing, or life circumstances, or even the hand that I was dealt that had kept me from living an abundant, fulfilled, joyful life. 


It was my wrong thinking.


Once I began to earnestly seek God and His desire for my life, I began to discover that I did not believe that I was worthy of such a life. This hard truth made me examine even further my negative thoughts, actions, and situation in life. 


After grasping the reality that God has a plan for my life: 


Jeremiah 29:11 
"For I know the plans I have for you, 
says the Lord. 
They are plans for good 
and not for evil, to give you
a future and a hope." TLB.  

Then I began to re-think my old thoughts and fears that my life would never change and I replaced those old, negative thoughts with His thoughts and words for me. 



Matthew 19:26 
"But Jesus beheld them,
and said unto them,
With men this is impossible;
but with God
all things are possible." KJV. 



I accepted the fact that with God, all things are possible. Changing my life, making me a better person, getting out of poverty and living the abundant life I was called to live, all of it is possible with God! 


Fear had always told me I wasn't worth it and I'd never amount to anything, that people would always oppose me, and that my needs would never be fully met, but it is written: 


2 Timothy 1:9 
"It is He who saved us and chose us for
His holy work
not because we deserved it
but because that was
His plan long before 
the world began -
to show His love and kindness
to us through Christ." TLB. 



And...


Philippians 4:19 
"But my God shall supply
all your need according
to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." KJV. 




Not to mention...


 Romans 8:31-32 
"What can we ever say to such
wonderful things as these?
If God is on our side,
who can ever be against us?
32 Since He did not spare
even His own Son
for us but gave Him up
for us all,
won't He also surely
give us everything else?" TLB. 

John 10:10
"The thief cometh not, 
but for to steal and to kill,
and to destroy;
I am come 
that they might have life,
and that they might have it 
more abundantly." KJV.  





Once I replaced my negative, destructive thoughts with His thoughts for me, I was free to dream about a better future. To envision that future for my family and I. Then I was able to take action and be led by Him onto the path He has chosen for me towards a better life full of success, happiness and prosperity. 


I thank God everyday for the renewing of my mind, the ability and business that He has given me to change my life for the better!

Puppy Love

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm an  animal lover, and they also know that my main  animal love is the  four-legged-pooch-type,  also known as  "Man's best friend." 🐶 My furry family has taught me a lot, but of all the things that I've learned from  them,  the most important two things have been forgiveness and gratitude.  Forgiveness Now I'm not implying that you can abuse a dog and they will easily forgive and  forget. What I am saying is that when you  have to  leave them alone for an  extended period of time (like on Sundays when  we have church and work the  monthly food pantry or the monthly missions' luncheon and end up  being away from them for hours), even though they've given you their best  sad-eyed-I-can't-believe-you're-leaving-me guilt trip as you're walking out the door, the moment you return all is forgiven and  they are...

Serving Others Well

When you follow the Golden Rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", then serving others well becomes a natural, innate part of your life.  This is nothing new. We have all heard this phrase, and for some of us it was a moral lesson consistently taught to us by our loving parents.  To serve others well simply means to put yourself in their shoes and see their wants, needs, desires, goals, ambitions, and dreams as if they were your very own, and then to work hard doing everything you can to help meet those needs or to make those things a reality for them.  Are you in sales? Do you provide a specific service? Are you a blogger or writer?
