On Purpose

On Purpose

Walk with me, if you will, on this journey as I embark on the exploration of how to live a positive life, in spite of whatever circumstances may befall us.

Let us take some time to consider all the joy, happiness, fulfillment, peace and success that our lives will have, once we have chosen (and taken action) to live a positive life on purpose!

I firmly believe that Positive living is a choice, it's something that you do on purpose.

You alone have the ability to choose to be grateful or regretful. You can choose to be grateful for what you have, while working on getting everything else you need and want, or you can choose to murmur and complain about what you are not in possession of now and how life isn't fair.

Everyday is a new day, a brand new opportunity to change the way you see your world, and by changing your perception, you can change your life for the better. Will you chose to see the glass half full, or half empty?

For most of my life, my perception was that the glass was always half empty. While I was grateful and thankful for many people and things in my life, I always longed for the things that seemed so far out of reach for me.

I often found myself questioning why was it that others were able to obtain and enjoy a better life, job, home, and vehicle while I struggled with an uninteresting, plain life and constantly lived in poverty?

Then I discovered the answer.

Choices.

It's as simple as that.

The choices I made everyday were a far cry different from the choices positive, successful people made. And these choices were determined by my thoughts.

Thoughts are powerful!

Although I was a believer, I had been raised with negative thinking, and had not yet come to terms with the fact that I could chose a different path for my life!

Then, one beautiful day, I came to a fork in the road on my life's journey and it was then that I realized what I had been missing all along.

There were two roads set before me. The road of positive living, where all things are possible through Christ, and the much traveled, well-worn, comfortable road of negative living.

That day I made a decision.

Enough was enough.

No more.

I began to read, research and listen to positive, successful people while looking for the missing pieces in this puzzle of life that created my poverty-driven lifestyle in an effort to transform it into the successful, positive lifestyle that I desire to obtain.

I am getting better and better each day. As I am learning and implementing the things which are needed to create the life that I desire, I have found that positive living on purpose is the key.

My desire is that my readers will be empowered, encouraged, engaged, set-free and moved into positive living throughout the rest of your life's journey by the experiences and examples that we share here together.

Come be a part of Positive Living  and let's help each other live life to it's fullest!
