Serving Others Well
When you follow the Golden Rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", then serving others well becomes a natural, innate part of your life.
This is nothing new. We have all heard this phrase, and for some of us it was a moral lesson consistently taught to us by our loving parents.
To serve others well simply means to put yourself in their shoes and see their wants, needs, desires, goals, ambitions, and dreams as if they were your very own, and then to work hard doing everything you can to help meet those needs or to make those things a reality for them.
Are you in sales? Do you provide a specific service? Are you a blogger or writer? Whatever your job, business, or service is, simply ask yourself "what would I want or expect in this situation if the roles were reversed?"
Then, honestly answer that question and make the necessary adjustments, if any.
And if the product, service or writing isn't something that you would actually buy, pay for, or read; then it may be time to re-evaluate.
Most of the time this isn't the case, as people frequently have an emotional attachment to what they do for a living, however, for those of you who find yourself in the situation where you realize that you are only doing your job or you are only in your business for the money that you can earn, then perhaps it's time to rethink your passion.
Whatever you are passionate about will show up in your actions, attitude, and in the service that you provide to others. If you are only working for the money, where is your benefit? Without your benefit, without your passion, how can you possibly serve others well?
Final thoughts....
Be true to yourself, to your passion, remember the Golden Rule and live life to the fullest!
